Band One Arm Front Raise

Isolation shoulder exercise raising one arm forward against band resistance to target the anterior deltoid.

How to do it

  1. Stand with one foot on the band for resistance.
  2. Hold handle in one hand at thigh level, palm facing down.
  3. Keep arm straight, raise it forward to shoulder height.
  4. Pause briefly at the top.
  5. Lower arm back down slowly and repeat.

Form cues

  • Raise to shoulder height
  • Keep elbow soft
  • Don't swing
  • Control the descent

Common mistakes

  • Swinging the arm
  • Bending at the elbow
  • Raising above shoulder

Breathing

Exhale as you lift, inhale as you lower.
