Stairs Calf Stretch
A stretch performed using stairs to lengthen and increase flexibility in the calf muscles.

How to do it
- Stand with the balls of your feet on a step or stair.
- Support yourself with a railing, wall, or sturdy object.
- Lower your heels slowly below the step to feel a stretch in your calves.
- Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds.
- Raise heels back up and repeat as desired.
Form cues
- Keep knees straight but not locked
- Lower heels gradually
- Engage core for balance
- Avoid bouncing
Common mistakes
- Letting heels drop too fast
- Rounding your back
- Bouncing during stretch
Breathing
Exhale as you lower into the stretch, inhale as you return.
